A $900 Billion Glitch

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A  -0.30%) looked like it was having a really, really sour Monday.

In the morning, markets showed that his company lost 99.97% of its $900 billion value.

Except, it was just a technical glitch. A terrifying one for traders, but a glitch, nonetheless.

• The NYSE halted trades on the world’s most expensive stock and fixed the issue in about an hour. 

Making $900 billion disappear isn’t that easy, but sometimes it can look easy.
